Issue with delivery address

Starting yesterday when their event information and their heat vent location address even though they may be the same when it's transferred to the delivery side it's capitalizing the whole address city state and all that you have to manually go back to edit and click these swipe arrow to copy it over to the event location to get it back to upper and lower case

You can look at any of our recent leads and see the same thing Eastbrook is a really good when it's at the top of our list

We haven't done anything in the software to make these fields change their case to upper/lower. This looks like a browser or device thing

I have to disagree i just did quote # 2919003 from my wifes computer at home. I agree sometimes clients type various ways but i did this myself so i know exactly what i did.

Different network, different computer etc.

I did a test and noticed you've done some too and they started coming in lower case. Did you figure it out?

Sorry there was some confusion previously. Yes our system uses USPS to verify the addresses and it does return them as all caps. I can probably make it not due this if there was no changes made, but most likely if it "fixed" the address then it will switch it to upper case.

USPS verifies the address or zip and city?

Why has it changed since the last update..it never returned it this way before

Address verification is a new feature we added.

So how about an explanation of how it works what happens on the client end if they give bad info, what if they give info that is not on file, is the client prompted for new info, does it check on the client address to or just event location, what if they put in something like Nitro city park but don't have the address etc.

I need more info on this feature and is it something we can turn off and on from settings

It only checks the event address and makes minor corrections. The main reason we added it was to get the zip-4 added to provide better taxrate calculations. If they put in something that it can't auto-correct then it just leaves what they entered. It's not something you can turn off.
