Can we set it so that after say 14 days to have a quote expire that way we can not have someone auto book a quote from months ago days before their event?

There isn't a way to set an expiration, but you can prevent booking based on availability or based on the number of days before an event. This can usually achieve what you want. First I want to consider what you mean by booking. I assume your customer has a quote, and they are choosing to click the book now button which then generates a contract, upgrades status, and reserves the equipment.

In that case, the system would obviously prevent any booking that has equipment listed that is unavailable. I think the solution for you is to set the number of days required before an auto booking. In Settings->Online Quoting->Must Precede Event By, you have zero set. You most likely need to put in 7 days or 3 days or something to prevent a customer from booking at the last minute. You as an admin would still be able to book something last minute, but it would prevent the customer if they are trying to book 7 or 3 days before the event date.
