Is there a way to limit a rental by date (true daily rental)?

I'm trying to find a way to charge by day, so that once the quote goes past midnight into the next date, another day is charged. I've tried using the daily threshold but the rental time on any given day can be up to 14 hours and if I set the daily max at 14 hours, someone can still book into the next day. e.g. from 6pm Friday to 10am Saturday.
Is there currently a way to achieve this?

I think I am having the same problem, I want them to be able to let customers book online and get a quote online but if they select a rental end time to be a week after their start time it still lets them book the item for a single day price. I cant use this as a rental tool if they can just reserve a unit for as long as they want and only pay for a day. Has anyone else using the online quote and booking system figure out how to handle this?
