Are there plans to provide a service for indoor (FEC) facilities? I would really like to have one system for both.
This is something that we've considered, but have not yet began significant development efforts in yet. What features would you need in order for our software to be adapted to do both well?
Our facility offers 2 party rooms each with designated times ie: 1-3, 330-530, etc.. That really seems to be the only major hangup for us using the software for our Indoor. Some sort of a simple POS or POS integration would be nice as well.
We can do some things for party rooms. For instance, you could setup 2 rental items, one for each room. Then we could do custom work to only allow the time slots that you define when your customers are booking online. However, your employees would have to manually put the time slots in when booking on the backend. The POS is a ways off.
That sounds like a great idea. I would like to give it a try for a few months. We are going to setup a pop indoor facility starting in October.

Has anyone tried this yet? I Have 2 party rooms also and understand the 2 rental items setup but how would we do the times?
We do have some clients doing it already, and the times are done just like any other rental where the customer enters a start and end time. Unfortunately, you don't get to define predetermined "time slots."
So how are they determining the price if the customer can pick the times they want? Someone could book an all day party?
Could you point me to some who is doing it?
Just curious if you could make this happen it would be worth paying extra to help the indoor facilities, even if it is an extra monthly fee.
I don't recall the names of the clients we have doing this, I just know I've helped several set it up before based on what they were asking. Sorry. But as far as the price goes, they just make the price of the item an hourly rate, so technically a customer could book the whole day, but they'd be paying a price for it. If you let us know how you're hoping it would work, we might be able to give you a custom quote for some potential custom work in the customer interface that would automatically chose between certain time slots. I would email us about this or start a new private support thread though.
We have an indoor party room and do 2 hour party rentals, we treat it like any normal rental and we have a 15 min set up and pick up window which allows us to book parties 30 minutes apart to clean the room in between. the times are always different and basically the first person to book a party for the day determines when the rest of the parties will be booked, ie first party 1-3 then we can book parties 10:30 - 12:30 or 3:30 - 5:30 people are usually pretty flexible. We have custom email setup to send to clients with printable invitations and if you have the workers module you could easily schedule shifts.
