I have added the following to our packing slip: Contract: %contract_signedtime%
Not a Problem
I did this so we know if we still need to get a signature on the contract. It isn't inserting the date if the contract is actually already completed. Any idea how to correct tis or is there a better way to accomplish this?

I think you might have had a typo. I retyped it out to be sure it was correct, saved, and tested it. It's working.
