How do we make a fee nontaxable?

It seems that IO is calculating tax on our damage waiver fee. Can we set it to be nontaxable? Otherwise, we're collecting too much in taxes. This also affects our downloads to QB since fees are set as nontaxable in our QB file (per our state and local requirements).

Currently that is not possible to do via a Promotion/Fee. You would have to have the Damage Waiver be an item and set the price that it is assigned to be non-taxed.

Unfortunately items can't be a % based on the total so you would have manually enter the fee for the damage waiver.

If we were to create an item to be DAMAGE WAIVER, is there a way for us to prevent the item from appearing on the Thank You survey to the customer?

Not at this time.

Will there be an option to make fees non-taxable in the future?

We've added this to our product development system. We don't currently have it scheduled to be done soon, but I'll add some notes to this given the amount of feedback we've recieved.
