Unfortunately, we are having to change rental software due to a company wide change. Can IO put all of our customer and event info into an excel spreadsheet so that we can easily export that info into our new software?

Oh no... Your gonna leave the IO family that sucks.. Maybe the IO guys can find a way to help you stay.

My understanding is that the parent company/brand set up an exclusive deal for all their franchise locations to use the same software, so we understand his hands are somewhat tied on the matter.

For customers you can just go to Customers and hit Export at the bottom-left. For Events, see here for how to create a custom report.

We'll miss you! Feel free to complain loudly if the new software isn't as good =)
