Emailing from Inflatable Office to yourself

Answered

When emailing an invoice to my email - so "from" email and "to" email, the email goes no where . . . not into my email or spam or junk mail, just no where. I used to be able to do this, but haven't been getting any emails in quite a while. The email is in the "log" journal (initiated by "me" and sent to "me", but it doesn't get emailed to me.

Most likely your email server is blocking these emails. We would have to adjust your email settings to route outgoing directly to your server instead of using your mail server (this can be done under Settings->General, see SMTP) or you'll have to configure your mail server so that we are an "allowed sender".

I have had this same issue also. My email is hosted through HOSTMONSTER who host our website.. who are you using Michelle?

I didn't have this issue at first it started about 3 weeks or so ago.

Hi Greg - our email is hosted through Gmail. I went through the email settings to allow sender, and although I received notifications of both signature and/or payment, I still do not receive the initial email sent through Inflatable office email tab. I have my web designer looking into it, but I have started to cut and paste the link from Inflatable office into my outgoing email (in Microsoft Office) with a read receipt. That way I am sure the client received the email and link. I'll let you know what happens if they find another solution.

FYI - I am able to set my own gmail address as the FROM and the TO and I got the email (when email was routed through InflatableOffice email server). It did have a message at the top saying 'this message may not have been sent by...'

Have you tried just putting your email address in the CC or BCC when emailing the customer?
