Email bounces, cant determine why?

We've noticed this on a few accounts, I'll start recording the lead ID's. However, here's a good example:

Lead 1678490

The first email was sent at 5pm, and bounced, but the second email, sent 5 minutes later, didn't. I suspect you'll assume it was a temporary error, but I'm wondering if there's a log showing why it bounced? As I mentioned, we had a few situations like this in the recent past too, same salesperson (not sure that matters?)

I also just noticed a very odd email log in a brand new order...LEAD 1682654

How is there a log going back to june, if the lead was created today? It wasn't a 'save a copy' lead either.

And if it says it is initiated by "bounced", does that mean they're actually bouncing? Usually it indicated the bounced emails with red text

We can't usually tell the reason why the email is rejected, we just get a bounce notification. You are currently using our default email sending server rather than your own dedicated one. See Settings->General Settings for using your own SMTP for outgoing email. That way the reply address doesn't differ from the server that's actually sending it. The credentials you need to enter at the bottom of the page are the same things you would enter if you were setting up a mail app on your phone for outgoing email.
