Edit a venue name to change upper/lower case

When a client enters a venue name or when we enter a venue name wrong and need to make the change, it seems to not take in IO.
It works if we are changing the name somewhat but if we need to change letters from lower case to upper case or upper to lower it will not allow it it keeps reverting back to the which ever was put in the first time.

That's correct. There isn't a way to do this at this time. It will always stick with what was entered the first time. We have an "edit venues list" on our todo list. I'll add your name to the project as a client that's interested in this. Perhaps in the meantime we can modify the code to always submit venues with the first letter of each word capitalized. You still won't be able to modify them, but at least they'll generally be more proper. This modification will have to be considered more before we impliment it though.

I think it would be good to have the edit venue name but at least the coding you speak of would be a great idea for now until you look at the option of allowing changes.
I noticed somewhere in here someone asked about a venue list like customer list where we could update and make changes.
That would be great also. I know we usually once a year update our schools information based on our Department of Educations directory they put out. It allows us to update address, phone numbers for schools in our customer list etc.
We do the same with churches in our area. We have added tons of churches addresses in our old database because we have found when someone books and event for a church, they are just a member and they NEVER know the address of the church for delivery information.

Is there any update on this feature? Our venue notes contain directions from our warehouse to the job site so when we moved, we had to update all of these as we went. Would be nice if there was a centralized Venue List where you could edit the name, address, notes, etc, perhaps in the settings tab or even the way the customers are setup (viewing leads attached to a venue).
