Do customers see the Private Notes section?
Answered
Is the private notes section for internal office use only? We were under the impression that clients could not read the private notes section? Please confirm.
We don't include this in any of our default templates, which is why we labeled it as "private," but if you enter the template variable *customer_notes* in any template that goes to the customer, it would output that field.

Is there a template variable (eg. notes section) that is truly private and available for office use only? ... one that customers do not see?

Any of them are private if you don't put them into a customer facing template. We just labeled the customer notes one private because our default templates don't use it.

There are more notes fields you can activate that are also not used in default templates: additional notes 1 & 2.
