Customized Alerts

I was wondering if you are planning on making customized alerts available at all? What I mean by this is having something where you can add your own alerts in. For example, if we wanted the scheduler to be automatically alerted via email to all new jobs being booked within 48 hours of the event start date/time, would something like that be possible? I could think of other uses for this as well. Not sure how easy it is to fit into your current infrastructure though.

This is something we intend to add into our CRM module eventually. It won't be easy to create, we want users to be able to set up automatic task notifications when a defined process happens. We'll look into making some kind of "Event booked within __ days" alert though.
