Custom Job number with Template Variable
Answered
Hi IO,
I wanted to know if there is a place I can add a custom job number (1-10) someone on each lead with a template variable that I can add to the data being pushed to my google calendar?
I number each job every week s(1-10), so that when one of my employees are referring to a specific job we just say "job #3, or Job #6" as oppose to saying lead id 9173873....etc.
Or I say, "Job #3 wants to know how far you are"or "pick up job #9 at 5pm".
So once I assign a number to each job for the weekend I can take a look at my calendar and see which job my guys are calling about. However, once I update the payments IO sends the update to google calendar and then it goes back to the orginal.
Is there a way to added this in?
We could turn the "number of guests" field into that since you're now using a custom dropdown input to gather that. Or we could use a second "additional notes" field to do this. Obviously the additional notes would be able to hold much more information and it's a bit overkill, but it would do what you need. Which would you prefer?

Either one works for me. Number of guests sound easier. I will try that.

I changed the field to say "Event Number" when you go to create a new lead. It looks like you've got the calendar variable figured out.
