custom email server
Answered
Tried to setup custom email server but TEST LOGIN keeps failing?? Verified my settings with charter. I can access the email account from my mobile devices while on 4G.
If you've verified the password and all the other info, you'll have to reach out to charter so see about any restrictions they may have built into the server. I'm having a hard time finding documentation that shows mobile.charter.net is a proper server name for regular smtp settings. This seems like something they've set up special for mobile devices. It's hard to tell from their documentation because it does a lot of jumping around of brands after you get to the site, but it looks like mail.twc.com might be the right email server.

Just talked to Charter/Spectrum and the info is correct. I had to switch it back off just so I could respond to a quote. Was hoping to eliminate some customers saying they never receive my emails.

Let me look into it further and see if I can figure out why this one isn't working.

Something is setup weird with their mail server. It doesn't respond to normal commands. Unfortunately you'll have to use a different email account or allow us to continue to send on your behalf. I'd suggest getting an email address @ your company.com.
Below is a log of what I tried. I have the twc.com one on there as an example of how it's supposed to work:
