Credit due for future rental

Refunds are not given when events are paid in full and canceled or edited for whatever reason, instead we issue a credit to be used towards a future rental.


What is the best way to track a credit if the lead is marked complete or canceled?

Most people handle this by putting the credit in the customer notes field, however, this is not recommended. We don't have a feature for this specificically at the moment.

I had some of these and Idk what was done but my credits show up on the order and we just add a note with the lead number with the credit to the client so we can reference back


With that said I would live to see a client alert added to the client screen so it would trigger an alert as a pop up or flashing screen etc so we could add notes to a customer like pre pay customer or don't take a check bad check before or terrible customer etc


Of course internal only but something that paps up so we don't have to read back or the pop up could say read notes etc

You could use the CRM tool and make a task for that customer without a reminder date. It would then show when the lead is viewed. However, we are considering adding this function in other ways to the CRM module.
