Credit card on file?
Answered
Would we be able to keep a credit card on file due to changes happening while delivering or picking up the unit?
For example dry use rental but used as wet...
Damages to our equipment.
I just feel sometimes after initial payment it is hard to go after them for payment after being negligent.
Yes, but only if using Authorize.net gateway and their CIM feature, or our new payment system (openedge) that is going to be available within the next 60 days.

Awesome. I have signed up to Authorize.net as of now just waiting to for a payment to see how the CIM works out.

We use payjunction and when we need to recharge a card we just log into payjunction and recharge the card for whatever amount we need to. That keeps us compliant with all card laws etc since they are the ones that have to meet all the rules. it doesnt keep the full card where we can see it but it allows us to make the needed charges. We then have to post the payment manually to IO but at least it works.
At some point we was supposed to have a recharge feature for Payjunction.. any movement on this or will we have to move to the new provider?
I read up on openedge but they dont post their rates online or anywhere to compare.. that seems strange since everyone posts those rates trying to get a new client. Are they rates just that good they dont want to show them, or are they so bad they want to suck us all in and then hit us with the high fees?

So with Openedge integration.. can you give us some details.. I called them today and they are doing a rate comparison for me compared to Pay Junction. This will also be the best time for us to upgrade readers in house and other options. I have a call scheduled later today to discuss my options and rates. What features is IO going to use that Openedge has.
I know the recharge feature and you mentioned credits issued through IO.
What other features of OPEN EDGE will IO be implementing?
Should we switch now and be ready for the open edge module?
Are you ready to allow us to change our set up in IO to OPenedge or is that still farther out?
I dont want to switch to soon and then be stuck with no processing options.
Thanks

I did my rate comparison with Open Edge.. saved about 10% per month on fees based on a 4 month rate comparison.
i have done my set up and waiting on them to get me all of my log in info etc. I would recommend everyone to at least have them do a rate comparison with your current provider whether you are going to use them in IO or not...
Oh and for those of you that do not have ACH.. Open Edge has that as part of the package which will be HUGE for use.. we will now be able to process ACH and avoid the checks in the mail comments.
