This client signed and paid but then was bounced back to this contract page saying no signature had been received.

This is because the contract does not live update once it has been generated. This keeps it secure in case anything changes on the lead, the contract doesn't change unless its been re-generated. Once the contract is regenerated, it will need to be signed again though.
