When i set up a lead and go to contract tab and click email for auto client contract the email letter is now pulling our client contract text email instead of our client contract.
Where do i make that change so it work correctly?

It's a setting not available to you yet. I've fixed it. Just don't save copy the Customer - Contract one. Start with a new manual email from now on.
