chat messenger service?

I'm not sure if this would be helpful, but have you ever thought of putting an internal chat messenger in Inflatable office, so you could messasge other workers or employees when they are logged on and ask them questions? Maybe assign chats to a lead number afterwards?

We've considered it, but the conversation just went to "texting, email, messaging apps, ect are how people always end up communicating anyways when a tool has a chat function built in." But we can definitely consider the idea again. What are some ways you may envision using it, and why would that way be better than a traditional means of communication?

We use a program called lan messagener and it works great for us
