Cannot Edit CRM journal

The journal piece of the CRM does not allow us to edit it, or delete. Even the admin cannot edit it. We've made typos and mistakes and wanted to fix them. Only way to do that is add another entry to show the mistake. It is like the log in that it cannot be changed which has value...however, can you make it so at least the admin can modify/delete the journal entries?
