Cannot create new customer page

I am trying to enable the new customer facing page, but it seems that in order to delete the old one, I must make a new one. No matter what name i try to use in the display name field, it appears as already taken. Id really like to get this done today.

You must first go here and activate the new ones:

Then you can click on Customer Interface on the left and delete the old quote page. This will switch you from the old quote pages to the new ones.

i tried this, but im not seeing a tab for 'customer interface'. i did try deleting the pages, but they are still there.

I think the original instruction might have been a bit unclear. Sorry. The "customer interface" link isn't a tab, it's a link on the side of the page.
I've deleted it for you, so you're now using the new interface.
