Best practices for walk-ins

Is there any best practice guideline for utilizing InflatableOffice in a store front environment? We get a lot of walk-ins and people that like to physically come in to our rental office. We also offer customer pickup.

We are struggling with a few items currently and are looking for suggestions:

1) What is the best way to handle someone signing a contract in person? Printing and scanning is quite a process when you have a line of people out the door waiting to pick up their order. Is there anything on the roadmap or available today to offer digital in person contract signing (on a tablet or like device)?

2) Is there anything on the roadmap to either integrate a credit card terminal or way to scan a credit card into IO via Auth.net? It is a struggle to have to type in credit card numbers with customers waiting. We could use an external credit card machine but then we have paper receipts and we would need to manually capture the payment data in IO.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

While we aren't really built for the store front, it is possible to use IO in that environment.

1) The contract page that you bring up when printing a contract is complete with the ability to take digital signatures. It is built to work on touch devices like phones and tablets too. I suggest going to the lead's event tab, clicking the email button, choosing the Customer - Contract template, selecting TEXT, and clicking send. This will send a text message of that email content to the customer's cell phone number listed on the lead. They can then sign and enter their own credit card while you deal with another customer. When they are done, you can click the lead to check and see if they signed and paid by viewing the contract tab of the lead.

2) We have plans to do this, but we are not there yet. I suggest the method above for the time being.

Thanks!
