Alpha sort email list

Is there a way we can sort the email drop down list when sending to a client.
Event, click email and then pick from the drop down.
the drop down list is not in alpha order... I know that sounds crazy but we have added several email templates and it seems we have to keep scrolling up and down trying to find the correct one to use.
We have kept them grouped by Customer, Instruction Sheet etc, but then the various ones are just scattered throughout.
