Alert Customer when booking On Line
Answered
I have many customers who never realized they booked their order online. They submit another quote to make a change and items shows as unavailable so they move on to another unit and book that as well. Now I have multiple orders for same day for same customer.
Is there a way for system to automatically generate a "Thank You for Submitting Your order" type email so they know they actually did booked the order online? I have created my own order confirmation but I have to manually send out when I see an auto booking has been submitted.
The autobooking alert simply means they've clicked to generate their contract. if they have paid a deposit, we have a payment received auto email, and we also have a "contract received" auto email for when they sign the contract. So either of these emails would accomplish this. Leads that don't do either are in the booking process, but haven't done whats required to confirm the order fully. You still have communication with the customer and decide you'll still go do the job despite not having the contract signed or deposit paid, which is why we move contracted leads to complete, because we assume you'd have moved it back down to quote if you've followed up with the customer and they aren't actually ready to book.
