IO Workers App Crashes on Startup

Solved

Am I unique in that maybe 40% of the time the Workers app loads with a mostly-black screen and the actual app looking like it fell off the corner?

iOS running latest app version and latest OS. This has been happening for well over a year, and on multiple devices for me.

Let us know what usernames this is happening to? What type of device? Can you send another screenshot of what it looks like before this (maybe login screen?) And we can have a developer take a look

This is happening on my account (haven’t checked with others) and always happens on returning to the app, so there’s not any screen preceding it.

Thanks! I could send over another screenshot, but they're all identical. Every time it happens it looks just like this, and I close the app from multitasking and then reopen so it works again. Note: every time it happens it's when I'm opening up the app--it never happens in the middle of using the app.

Also, have you already tried uninstalling the app and installing again from the app store?

I have had this same issue on multiple phones, and I assume I would have tried that early on to fix the problem but it's been a year of dealing with it just assuming it would eventually get fixed.

I just deleted and reinstalled, and within 20 minutes had it happen again.

The steps to reproduce (unreliably) are: open a text message in the app, then go use other apps for a bit (perhaps until the IO multitasking process is stopped?), then go back to the app. If you've waited long enough, or used enough RAM for the iPhone to end the IO process, it should open and look like the screenshot until you force-close and reopen the app.
