Maybe I am not creating the file correctly, but it's showing me both positive and negative sales tax for places. btw, its these little things for reporting that's a little annoying... a sales tax report by city should be a basic precreated item

Can you give us specifics on how you ran this report? by event date or payment date? And what were the dates? thanks

Why is this not a pre-created, auto-run report? This literally something that 45 states require every month. The amount of effort this takes for each of us, when you could auto create is beyond my comprehension. Anyway, I used payment date, contact city, payment sales tax.

No, this isn't a report that is used by everyone. Everyone uses their own set up for this. What dates are you using? (specifically, April 1-30?)

Monthly sales tax isn't a report that people in 45 states need to use? Here's my frustration, I've moved from ERS to IO because I heard how robust it is, but I've been having a TON of issues from the routing, the app, basic reports, etc. Its honestly added SO MUCH extra time to running my business. Thats my frustration, at this point I've really regretted moving over to IO...

I didn't select a time frame, I just filtered it out during Excel.

People run this report differently in every area. Some run by city, some by county....etc. So we prefill a general sales tax report for everyone but everyone uses their own version of this. I am unable to tell the issue once within excel. I would need to run the report in IO exactly how you ran it and see what information is being exported. Did you run your sales tax report with no filters on your leads page?

I went into the reports under setting and set the parameters to payment date, contact city, payment sales tax. Ran it, exported it to Excel and then filtered for the month of April.

Ok, I have added a couple columns to the report to make a little more sense...if you look at the council bluffs on the report now that is reporting -16.88 in payment sales tax...you will see it's because it was a negative payment (refund)

Ok, can we tell if the refund was done in the same month or a different month from the original payment?

I've added the payment date and lead #...this way you can see all payments listed for the lead ...one per line
