Child Item using Themed Panels/Banners

I added a Child Item to my combo site called Castle Combo 7 with Themes/Banners. I then added a few accessories under it. I used 1 of the themes as the default image. How can i make that when a client picks this that the accessory defaults to the Image a client clicked on. So for example I chose to use an image with the Avengers on it. If the client clicks that and goes to the next page with all the banners they can just click ADD but it doesn't default to the Avengers although the image looks like that. Hopefully this makes sense.
