email signature
Answered
Hi,
I have created an email signature by going to pages/ templates then I searched for "email signature" in I think the inactive section, I opened the template titled "email signature" and entered in the text field what I'd like my email signature to be and it is not being copied into emails when I send them out. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

Hi Craig,
You will need to make sure you are adding the email signature variable to your email templates wherever you want the signature to display. The variable for the email signature is at the top of the email signature settings. Once you add this to your templates, this will display. Make you you are either putting * or % at the beginning and end like this: *template-email_signature* or %template-email_signature%

Thank you I figured it out! My only other question is how do I put the signature template in the email from the email tab next to the tasks tab? Like if I generate an email to send to a customer, how do I add it into that so that every time I send an email from there, the signature is automatically there? Thanks!

You would add the variable to email templates in Settings-->Email Center. Just add the variable to whichever email templates you want the signature to show on!
