Turning off Autosave

Any promos, fees, pricing, etc that needs autosave to calculate (any of these items that use a filter as a trigger) would need to be turned off to be able to turn off autosave

Understood. In that case , I have a new question - I clicked on the green "add promotion" button to create a new Coupon Code called "March to the beat" recently. I don't need a filter to match this coupon since we have added it to certain leads manually. I realize now that this should have been created as a "legacy promotion" to avoid putting a filter on it. Is there a way to change this already created coupon code in the system so that it doesn't need a filter? or do I need to like recreate it as a "legacy" promotion and reapply it to all the leads again? (there is over 100 leads that have this promo code added to their quote... would like to avoid having to re-apply it if possible)

All of this to say... we need autosaved turned off.

The coupon code w/ the filter will still apply to these leads and wouldn't need updated unless you wanted to make changes on the leads. So you would be safe to remove the current promo and then create a legacy promo in it's place

I need to turn ooff autosave. The coupon I was using before has since beeen removed from leads, and deleted. iO still will not let me turn off autosave. Under the WSA and Panurgy OEM locations, the checkbox is grey'd out - not allowing me uncheck it . Please help!

You have a Demo Rental Fee, and Demo Rental Fee EU that is using filters that would affect the autosave, you would need to remove these as well. These are on WSA and for PanurgyOEM.

I see. however this is strange becuase we have had the Demo Rental Fees programed into iO for a long time now, and autosave was only ever turned on when I created a new promo code for March (the march promo has now been removed).

Is there a workaround? We HATE having autosave on and really need it turned off. - I dont want to mess with the demo rental fee.

This demo fee would need to be put in as a Legacy Promotion not using filters. What exactly is this fee?

this is a $50 fee that gets automatically applied to a lead whenever the coupon code "DEMO100" is selected. This allows us to waive all rental fees for an order, and only charge the customer $50. This is how we've setup our Demo rental orders. It's been set up this way for a long time now.

And the only way to do this fee is with a filter and this requires autosave to be on unfortunately.

Hi Jen, appreciate your help with this. I'm very concerned over your response though... is there any way we can have the developers review this? I'm telling you.. autosave was OFF when we created the demo fee promos and it functioned properly. We need autosave to be turned OFF again like it was before. I cannot accept your response, and would like to request another look over this. Can't your team override this somehow???

Maybe we can try to create the demo fee a different way other than using autosave anytime a filter is used autosave must be on.
