Code in Filters?

Can I use any kind of code or formula in the filter field?

I'm looking to create a dashboard that will display essentially "upcoming potentially recurring events". For me I'm defining that as events that were over $500 in any of the previous years happening in the next calendar month.

ie. If it is February now, and last March we did a $1000 event for XYZ Co., I want that lead to show up in the dashboard. Along with any other events we did in Marches of past years with totals over $500.

(I'm not sure what our results are going to look like exactly, so I also want to be able to change the filter a bit to optimize the results, such as showing results for more than just "Marches", or perhaps a rolling 90-day (or more) look. Or maybe adjusting the total to $300, or $700, etc.

For this kind of report, you could create a filter that separates leads over $xx.xx that occurred over 335 days ago, and within the last 365 days. This creates a "rolling-30" type of filter. Then you can apply this filter to a leads report to view this from your leads screen or dashboard. You can easily adjust the window or threshold to suit your needs.

Great idea on the days. I suppose doing an "OR" function for 2 years ago, 3 years ago, etc. would include all events from "March" from each of those years...

yes, you could separate those groups by attaching the AND between 335-365; OR 695-730.

Update: tried it out and it seems to work great. Thanks!
