Discount Code Improperly Calculates Distance Fee Discount

Solved

I have a discount code for a percentage off of delivery. It calculated a discount based on the default delivery charge instead of the entered delivery charge.

That is.... the calculated delivery charge was not the amount that the customer was going to pay, but the discount code took the percentage off of the estimated delivery charge, which in this case would have had me paying the customer for delivery.

It looks like you have 2 promos set up to remove 50% of delivery? ART50 and GoGreen

I do. They serve different purposes. In this case, the ART50 was in place

Did someone also check the "artistry only" checkbox and enter the coupon code? If so it's going to apply both the way you currently have it set up

No. The event was copied from last year, and the delivery fee was much lower than the current rate. The delivery fee was around $60, and the ART50 calculated to $81 and change...

You would need to recalculate when there are changes like this....that way it would calculate w/ the new rate as well as give the promo with the new rate

Oh, okay. Just assumed that the discount code would apply to the published delivery fee.... but that's apparently not how it's calculated
