Contract Date Calendars

On the contract section there is booked date and contract received date. When you click on the contract received date it populates with current date and time, but when you click on booked date it populates with current date and 12:00am could it be fixed to work as the the received date does with current date and time?
we run into this alot when we are not emailing a client a contract because they are in house bookign the event and we are doing manual contracts.
