Price locking
Answered
Is there a way to turn off the price change suggestions for leads that are in a contracted or confirmed status? The issue is how easy it is to accidentally change a price on an order that was already signed and confirmed prior to a price increase.
Thanks,
This alert cannot be turned off. It's important to have prices correctly saved on items....or make discount changes on the discount box (on the rental item's line) instead of changing the price to a lower amount. If you do this you will get less alerts.

You can also go back and look at the signed contract. Once it's signed it "screenshots" it so any changes don't appear there. It will only show a balance due or overage once they make the payment on your end. Then you'll have to figure out why.

Susan,
Our prices are correctly saved. We are not manually adjusting prices on a lead. The issue is when we have leads booked prior to a price increase. For example a customer places a reservation for an event they are having the next year, if we change the price of the items before their event takes place then we will be prompted to change them on this customers order every time we open that lead. This doesn't seem like a big deal for a simple one item order like a bounce house, but for a wedding with 15+ items on the invoice it gets cumbersome.
I think this would be a good feature to look into. We are getting the same prompts over and over again on the same lead, also often times prompting a price change to the same price "Change White Garden Chairs from $4.00 to $4.00.

Turning off these alerts isn't an option but I can have the developers look to see what else can be done.

We generally ignore them...and by that I mean we just don't click anything.
