Customer Browsing

This is an example of a customer browsing late last night and following their initial contact there are 7 IO interactions over the next hour that all appear to be identical. They refer to a W-9 reference.
My question is why do 7 interactions appear in the log for this customer when they all appear to be identical? These don't seem to be providing any relevant information to help understand what is happening with this customers search and they clutter the log with what seems irrelevant.
Am I missing some value in these posts?
Thank you for helping me understand if this is a necessary feature to help understand the customer browsing experience.
Good morning Tom, this is an automation that you have set up and you have it set to go out 6 times to the customer.

There is no way we would intentionally send the same message 6 times in an hour? Why would anyone do that?
This has to be a glitch. How can I change that?
It must be pissing people off!

The customer didn't receive anything this just changed the field 6 times, if you want this to send an email you will need to change this to email and set to 1 time.

Thanks Jen. I just don’t know why it updates so much so I will change it.

Thank you for your response but my point is that I would never set any communication to go out 6 times in such a short window. How could that happen? Because since I never set it up to do that, I don’t know how to change it. Only Nicki or defaults could have made that happen.
I would like to stop it and may need help to do so.
I thought there was a response earlier that indicated this was actually NOT going out but was reflecting browsing activity.

This wasn't an email that went out 6 times...it was trying to set the W9 field on the lead over and over. The way to keep from happening is to set up the automation saying "once per lead"

Thank you Susan,
I did attempt to follow your kind instructions.
When I tried to remove the 6 times request (and still can't understand what the W-9 label actually refers to and why anyone would send it 6 times) it would not allow me to add 1 time inplace of 6 times without deleting the 6 time request forst.
To do that I had to know what the code was in the 6 time request, so I copied it intending to place it on the new request for just 1 time but there were multiple labels that had to be entered to allow the paste. Since there isn't enough information to know which label was used and is appropriate for the change, I was unable to complete the chnage.
Now it seems, whatever that task was regarding a W-9 may be gone, so if this was somethign important, I have now deleteed it.
