Discount granted to customer for next year

I would like to set up a field (optional field ?) that would show a discount granted to a customer for a next order in % of the total on rentals. How can i do that ?

I am open to suggestion.
A checkbox could be checked by the sales representative to say that the customer is eligible. Then the amount would appear in an optinal field. We would have it displayed on the contract... and would need to see it in the customer profile to be able to apply it the next year

Would the discount be a different amount or % for each customer/order? Like 5%, 10%, or 15%?
You can create an optional field that will display on the Leads/Customer page. This will have the field display on both sections so if the option is checked/selected on the lead it is shown on the customer profile.
If you have different % for each customer, you could make the type of field as "Select"
If you want the field selection to display on the contract page, you can copy the customfield variable after the optional field is created and paste it into your contract template where you would like this selection to display.

Can we have the calculated amount displayed in a field ?
Ex: when we check the field ''discount available'' then an other ''optional field would display the calculated amount. For exemple: 10% of the rental amount.

We wouldn't be able to have another field appear if the checkbox is selected. You may want to just have the field type as "Select" which would be a dropdown. Then you can advise None, or 10% of the rental amount, as the discount offered. This would at least display the discount amount when selected.

Ok, that would work. But i am not sure where would we see the amount ?
I have created the field ''Ristourne TEST'' and i have selected 10% in lead #38045448
what i need it to see 49.50 somewhere so i can inform the customer he has accumulated 49.50 dollars applicable on a futur event

Unfortunately the optional field will not calculate that amount. You could create another field that is "Small Text" field type and manually enter the discount amount in that box.

We will do that for now BUT can you see will programer if something can be done. You already have the ''calculation'' made for FEES.... Could that be apply to the optional field ? And insted of a fee it would simply be an ''amount'' or even better a ''cashback accumulation'' could be added in the promotion section ?

It’s not something we can take on any time soon. Consider this possible workaround.
Make an optional field for the customer or organization that tracks the discount you want to give next time. If you want a percentage of a current order, calculate and enter the amount. Then train your staff to check it.
Or give them a gift card for the amount they have to spend next time and make them track it. We have a method for gift cards that works well.
