Website Recaptcha

Need Answer

Hey,

So, I have downloaded 'Advanced Google reCAPTCHA' as a plugin on my website. As I am setting it up right now, I go to obtain my reCAPTCHA key for the type 'reCAPTCHA V2' with the "I am not a robot' checkbox. Now it is saying to enter my domain, but I am creating a new website and am putting the reCAPTCHA on the website I want to launch rather than the one I currently have running right now. My domain is jumpingjparty.com but I was wondering if there might be any altercation or interference if I use the URL for the website I am learning and trying to build being a the 'dev.rental'

Any help is greatly appreciated especially because I am trying to minimize the amount of mistakes I make.

Thank you!

Hello,

I would recommend using Elementor's ReCaptcha integration for your site. You should already have Elementor available on your new demo site (dev.rental). This method shouldn't ask for any kind of domain from you, if it does still ask you'll want to use your actual domain for the registration. If you are changing domains for the new site use the one you are switching to. Overall it may not function until we get the site live since the domain name and every URL on your site will update at that time. Additionally, ReCaptcha has proven to be stubborn to set up in the past so it may be easiest to troubleshoot once your site is officially live. Here is a guide from Elementor on the topic that should walk you through adding it https://elementor.com/help/recaptcha-elementor-integration/ Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hey,

I know you said this may happen, but I just want to make sure that when this site goes live, we are able to have the reCAPTCHA live on the site.

Thank you.
