Does IO have an option to use shortcodes for creating templates, such as customer reviews or quote templates? If so, what shortcodes are available, and how can they be implemented?

Yes? Reviews can be done within a WordPress plug in. But pages and templates are done by variables. A little more info will get you a better answer. 😬
Variables are found in settings>template variables
Pages are found in settings>pages/templates
In WordPress you can create short codes in IO within their plug in. But not 100% of how much you can expand that.

We would need to know more...we have a way of creating templates in the software that will show on the site (quote pages) and widgets, plugins for the reviews....so shortcodes aren't always necessary. Let us know what you are trying to change/update and we can take a look

got it, do you have any at the moment for example i know you have a shortcode that automatically puts the customers name when sending an email is there any other ones you have

If you go to Settings-->Template Variables you will see a list with all of our variables along with examples. You can add variables to templates to automatically plug in information on templates.

Wasnt able to get anthing done with that Can you provide a list of all available shortcodes and their corresponding functions? This will help me customize how I’d like the reports or data to display.

We don't have a list shortcodes available for IO templates. You would have to use the variables or request what you need help with from a developer:
