Edit code in email

I’d like to know how to edit the wording in the templates we use to send emails, such as customer invoices or contracts. I’m not looking to edit the HTML or code—just the text that appears in the email (e.g., the message and the hyperlink). Could you guide me on how to make those changes?

While editing, do any current clients now get sent new contracts, for example, or will it remain changed without them getting a new contract? I don't wanna update and then have my client tell me why did they get a new contract, for example
