Auto emails sending in error

On the below lead the customer was sent a contract due reminder email. The customer signed the contract already and the contract received date is set as 12/13/24 but io sent the email yesterday. This happens very frequently, customers are getting annoyed, how do I stop this from continuing?
I have fixed this email in your email center, to not send to customers with a contract that is signed.
