I'm trying to use the task reminders more frequently. When I set the date and time. I get an email within a few minutes of saving that I missed the task deadline even though I set the date from hours, days or even months in the future. The support forum says 15 mintutes after the time set. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Yeah, seems like the timing of the auto email is waaay off. I am putting in a ticket now.
