Invoice page wrapper

I'd like for my invoice page link to be on my website, but it doesn't look like it works that way. SO I created a wrapper and added it to the invoice page template. But the wrapper doesn't show up.
First, am I correct in thinking they can't view the invoice on my website? If it can be, then this would be my first choice.
If the invoice page can't be on my website, how can I make the wrapper apply to the page?
