There is not currently a way to do this but I have your request in with developers.

Check on the legality of this in your area. Lots of states have very strict rules on when and how you can expire cards. We do not support any auto expiring. You have to track and do this manually.

I would like the ability to set it somewhere? Maybe a gift card setting? But also how do I mark a card expired?

We use the gift card feature for credits on events that postpone or cancel. They are not technically gift cards but credits available to be used for 12 months
