IO Phone ringing issues

we have been noticing a delay in our phones starting to ring when someone calls in on our IO Phone numbers
the customer has told us it rang several times and then went to voicemail or they decided to hang up and that is about the time we get the ring
we answer and press any key and then get the message that the call has ended
is there a way to speed up that transfer process?
we do not have them hitting a menu or anything it goes straight to ringing our devices

Our developers advised these delays are most likely due to server issues that have occurred recently. This was a temporary issue, but they are continuing to monitor at this time.
