When I go into a lead and click the invoice it shows the invoice with a picture of each item near the name. However, if I email the invoice to the customer it doesn't have the pictures. Is there a way to change it to have the pictures?

The email template is not the same as the page template. Open the settings>template variables page then search for invoice. Use the appropriate variable to include in your email
