Add-ons and Upselling

When setting up my inventory, I list the same items in the Add-on section as I list on the Upselling section. When I viewed my Quote Request page, all the items were listed twice under the inventory item. I figured it was because the items were listed in both places so I deleted all my Add-ons. Then, I refreshed my quote request page and noticed all the items were missing, even though they were still listed on the back end of the inventory as upselling.

So I added the items back to the Add-ons so once again they are listed in both places. I then refreshed the Quote Request page again and only 2 of the items are listed twice.

How do I set it up so the items are only listed once? I would like to keep them listed in the Upselling section.
