Not at this time. If you have examples of how you would use them otherwise let us know and we can request

The uses are endless:

  • Currently, I would like the option to use these on the app for easier transparency with the employees. Of who's supposed to do what/when/where. '
  • Sending this info via txt. to employees would make communication a lot easier.
  • I also want to send Customers details about who's coming and doing what.
  • In general allowing variables to be inserted opens almost unlimited possibilities for what anyone wants to accomplish.
  • My brain is fried for the day but I will try to add to this later

Any updates to this?

Right now they still aren't sure if this is going to work. Currently these variables have to be sent through a lead...and through an email so that it knows what info to pull. If you have other examples of when you think this might work...maybe send an video with ideas.

I just realized I didn't respond to this.

The ability to use the variables on leads/packing list would be very beneficial. Currently, the *workerlist* is very confusing for our staff, when setup/delivery crew is different.

I would also like to send our customer the contact information for only our "Crew Leader" *shiftposition*. Or even including photos/details of who will be onsite.

I am completely blown away that IO can't see uses for these variables outside of emails. We have an IO worker app, why would we not want to put 90% of the information hidden behind these variables into the app?

"Hey team, I'm gonna have you clock into your shift through this app, but I can't use the app to tell you what time that is."

I can't even begin to describe how comical and sad it makes me that no one at IO sees the use in making the email variables available for other uses.

Unfortunately, I think that's not a great example. As they can see the shift time where they clock in. However, I'd love to see the workers calendar incorporated into the app for sure.

How about shift notes? I use them to tell them what attraction they are on etc

But can’t add to the packing list or app

Love this idea!!!

You can use reports that may help with something. Idk. Haven't looked that into it yet only made one, had them fix something and have t made it back.

I wish ALL variables were available to use within the system.
