Make WP_Checkout Fields Required

I'm looking to make these form fields required for page: WP Checkout (Group Name: Party Time Event Rentals):
surface_field
delivery_field
I don't see an obvious way to do it since it's just calling the predefined class.

These fields are already required by default the customer cannot get a quote w/o filling them in. Here is what they will see if those fields are left blank on the checkout page.
