I am noticing that media from one Wordpress site location is automatically uploading to all locations on all Wordpress site on the back end. Can I stop this from happening?

I literally now have thousands of images on the back end unrelated to certain locations. If I start deleting them on Wordpress will it delete them from other sites?

You can delete these images in WordPress, and it wouldn't affect your other sites. It looks like you may have added a plugin 'ShortPixel' which started creating duplicates to compress them
