square not working

We received email from customer stating payment for deposit unable to be accepted. We looked into merchant setting and tried to log out of square to re-login and see if it would work again but your site will not allow us to connect to square to allow for payments.. what's the deal? We originally tried Global but neither IO nor Global could figure out who could activate their services on our system so we dumped them and went with square.
