Changing an automatic email to a manual email

I have an email that somehow was saved as an automatic email, but we want these to go out only when staff enter a quote. How would I go about un-automating the email so that it doesn't go out until it's manually sent? Thanks!

See if you can save as copy and make the new one manual. then deactivate the current one.

Saving as copy didn't work unfortunately, but copying and pasting the body of the email will have to work. Thanks for your help.

I recommend copy the body of the email that is currently automatic and then paste it into a manual type email template, then turn off the active one.

That did it - I was hoping there was just a button or box I could check so that I could keep my log of emails sent, but I've created the new manual version using the old text. Thanks!
